Our Family Wedding (2010)

"Our Family Wedding" is a modernized version of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" that focuses mainly on the bickering between the fathers, played by Carlos Mencia and Forest Whitaker.  I was surprised to see Forest Whitaker in a romantic comedy about an interracial couple who have decided to get married much to the surprise of their unsuspecting families.  The movie provided several good laughs, but it could be a cheesy rom-com at times.  Overall, I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.  I would recommend it for a day when you need to have a couple laughs, but I probably wouldn't watch it more than once.  If you want to watch a great movie, rent the original.
